Join lawyers from Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger and Marriott International to discuss the current legal challenges and opportunities in the world of luxury next week in New York.
Regulatory risk and luxury
With the imminent arrival of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ramifications of Brexit and the opportunities and challenges of technology, a group of luxury lawyers will gather together next week to discuss how luxury legal departments are coping with the avalanche of demands on today's luxury lawyer. The group includes Taryn Looney, Director and Assistant General Counsel at Chanel, Simon Bock, Associate General Counsel, IP, Tommy Hilfiger USA and Bhavana Boggs, Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, Global Operations Services, Marriott International.
Navigating the challenges
'A day in the life of a luxury lawyer' will discuss what is top of their agenda for 2018 in the US and globally and how they navigate the challenges of doing business across borders. The event, organised by the Luxury Law Alliance, takes place in New York on 7 February from 5.30pm to 9pm in association with Jenner & Block. A number of places are available for corporate counsel.
